 Features
 DOWTS™ is a modularized water purification system for producing drinking water directly from surface water sources such as lakes, rivers, streams, wells, etc. Built on established water purification principles, DOWTS™ uses minimal electrical energy. This allows for installation where off-grid solutions are necessary or where power is limited. It can also be used for emergency situations such as aid, refugee camps, disasters, conflict zones, etc. Another use is for temporary water production.
 It is delivered to you as a pre-built package inside a standard shipping container. The container has insulated walls to create a stable interior environment and a balanced temperature.
 Easy to install
 Once you have purchased a DOWTS™, it will be delivered by truck to your designated location. It is then placed on a flat surface like any other container. You connect it with a hose to your water source, whether it is an existing water flow or pumped from your fresh water source (lake, river, stream, well, etc.). Then you connect your power, either solar, wind, grid, generator, battery, etc. This connection can be either DC12V or 24V, or AC such as 230V. You can even have it on the bed of a truck and/or use the power from the truck!
 User-friendly and easy installation
 The product is very user-friendly, but like all drinking water production units it requires supervision. It is built on the well-known Swedish principle of "design for all". Anyone who can read and follow the simple manual will be able to operate the system.
 Other information
 The water treatment equipment is selected to be energy efficient at the right quality and cost. The DOWTS™ M has the capacity to produce 200 liters per hour (the minimum requirement for a person is 2 L per day, the average use in Europe is about 130 L per day). It uses a 10-foot container. This container size is common when transporting goods and fits on most trucks. A standard container truck is equipped to take one 20-foot or two 10-foot containers.
 This system is equipped to run on either 12V DC, 24V DC or 220 VAC.
